James Lohse, M.D. James Lohse, M.D. has joined Brentwood East Family Medicine. Dr. Lohse specializes in family medicine and sports medicine for pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Lohse is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Advanced Qualification in Sports Medicine. He received his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed his family medicine residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Lohse then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. He has been in practice in the Nashville area since 2007.

Paul A. Abbey, M.D. Dr. Abbey received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a research associate in the department of orthopaedics and orthopaedic resident at Tufts New England Medical Center. His post-graduate training includes microsurgery at St. Vincents Hospital in Melbourne, Australia and hand surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Victor Vallejo, M.D. Dr. Vallejo earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at University of Tennessee affiliated hospitals. He graduated cum laude with his bachelors degree from David Lipscomb University.
Dr. Vallejo came to Southern Hills from Charleston, S.C., where he worked as a hospitalist at Trident Medical Center and served on the diabetes awareness and critical care committees. He also previously served as an assistant professor in the internal medicine department of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Terri Edwards-Lee, M.D. Dr. Edwards-Lee was an associate professor at the UCLA Department of Neurology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed a neurology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Cal. and a neurobehavior fellowship at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles. A specialist in Alzheimers and other dementias, she is board certified in adult neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Timothy S. Lee, M.D. Dr. Lee practiced general neurology, stroke care and neurodiagnostics as a member of Neuromedical Diagnostic Medical Group and the medical staff of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City. He completed a residency in neurology at the University of Southern California Los Angeles County Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medial School Department of Internal Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Jonathan D. Benson, M.D. Gastroenterologist Jonathan D. Benson, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Southern Hills Medical Center and Gastroenterology Specialists of Middle Tennessee.
Dr. Benson received his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, and was internal medicine chief resident at University Hospital, Indiana University School of Medicine. He has recently completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
He is a fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board-eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology.

Nicole Salloum, M.D. Dr. Salloum completed her internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after receiving her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor of science degree from Louisiana State University. Dr. Salloum is board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine. |
